	This anthology of gay-themed films consists of four award-winning shorts. "Death in Venice, California" takes its inspiration from Thomas Mann's classic novella "Death in Venice." Here, an academic, rather than a musician, finds his passions aroused by his landlady's seductively hunky son. The animated work "Achilles" focuses on the eponymous hero as he and his cohort Petroclus engage in love and battle during the Trojan War. Both "My Polish Waiter" and "Miguel, Ma Belle" feature protagonists who happily succeed in finding romance. The first tells of a man who takes a shine to his waiter and patiently goes about winning him over, while the second relates the story of a Latino who has just lost his lover...but gets a new one through the aid of--a dog!
